These terms are the agreement between you and AdriMark LLC
("we", "us") covering your use of the MC Together mobile app ("the app").
Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not use
the app. How the app handles data is covered separately in the
Privacy Policy, which forms part of this
agreement.
Your agreement is with us, not with the app stores
The app is distributed through Google Play and, where available, Apple's App
Store. Those companies are not parties to this agreement and are not
responsible for the app, its content, or supporting it. Your use of the app
is also subject to the store's own terms, and purchases are governed by the
store's payment and refund policies as described under
Premium.
What the app does, and what it does not do
MC Together runs on your phone and advertises a Minecraft: Bedrock Edition
LAN world on your local Wi-Fi network. Other devices on the same network see
that world in-game and, on joining, are sent to a Bedrock server address you
have chosen. The app is a networking utility: it is a way of reaching a
server address without typing it in.
We do not operate any Minecraft server. Every server the
app can reach — whether you picked it from the in-app list or typed
the address yourself — is run by somebody else. See
Third-party servers.
We are not affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft, Sony, or
Nintendo, and the app is not endorsed by them. "Minecraft" is a
trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
The app requires a working local network and a game you already
own. It does not supply, unlock, or modify Minecraft itself, and
it installs nothing on your game device.
Joining depends on things outside our control —
your Wi-Fi, your router's settings, the target server, and the version of
Minecraft you are running. A game update in particular can stop joining
from working until the app is updated to match.
Who can use the app
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed primarily at
children under 13. It has no login, no username, and no profile, and it never
asks for personal details. If you are under the age of majority where you
live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian,
and only they may make a purchase.
Premium
The app is free to use. A single optional purchase, "Premium", removes ads,
lifts the free connection limit, and unlocks custom server images.
One-time, not a subscription. Premium is a single
non-consumable purchase. There is no recurring charge and nothing to
cancel.
"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the app. Premium does
not expire and we will not revoke it, but it cannot outlast the app
itself. If MC Together is ever discontinued, Premium ends with it. We
make no promise about how long the app will remain available.
Purchases are tied to your store account. Buying Premium
entitles that Google or Apple account to it. Reinstalling the app or
moving to a new device restores it through "Restore purchases" as long as
you are signed in to the same store account.
Payments and refunds are handled by the store. Google or
Apple takes the payment; we never see your card details. Refund requests
go to them under their published policies. If you are an EU or UK
consumer, your statutory withdrawal and refund rights are unaffected by
anything in these terms — note that by downloading the unlock
immediately you may be asked to waive the 14-day withdrawal period, which
is the store's standard flow for digital content.
What Premium does not include. It does not give access to
any third-party server, does not guarantee any server is online, and does
not guarantee that joining will work on any particular device or game
version.
Promotional codes issued through Google Play or by us
directly are subject to the same terms and have no cash value.
Invite a friend
The app runs an optional promotion: share your six-character invite code, and
when enough friends install the app and enter it, Premium unlocks for you at
no cost. These are the rules of that promotion.
What counts. A friend must install the app and enter your
code inside it. Sharing alone never counts. The current requirement is
three redemptions.
One code per installation. An installation can redeem one
code, once. You cannot redeem your own code, and a code cannot be
transferred to another owner.
Premium earned this way is stored on the device that earned
it. Unlike a purchase, it is not attached to a Google or Apple
account, so it does not transfer to a new phone and it does not
survive uninstalling the app or clearing its storage. There is no
way for us to restore it. If you want Premium that follows your store
account, buy it.
We will not take it back. Once earned on a device, we do
not revoke it, even if we later withdraw the promotion entirely.
No cash value, and we can change or end it. The reward
cannot be exchanged for money. We may change the number of referrals
required, or end the promotion, at any time; doing so does not affect
Premium already unlocked on a device.
No gaming it. Redemptions we judge to be fraudulent
— automated redemptions, bulk installs, emulators or reinstall
farming used to manufacture referrals — do not count, and we may
void a code used that way. Requests to the referral service are checked
for app integrity, as described in the
Privacy Policy.
Third-party servers and the in-app server list
The app includes a browsable list of public Bedrock servers, and lets you
enter any address yourself. When you connect, you are dealing directly with
that server's operator.
We do not run, control, moderate, or vet these servers,
and we are not responsible for their content, their conduct, their
availability, their rules, or what they do with your data. Each has its
own terms and privacy practices; those apply to you when you play there.
A listing is not an endorsement. Server names and logos
shown in the app belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does
not imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from them or
us. Some placements may be paid; where they are, they are labelled.
Connecting reveals your IP address to that operator,
exactly as joining any online game server does. The app does not hide it
and is not a VPN or a proxy service in that sense.
Server operators who want a listing added, corrected, or
removed can contact us at the address below, and we will act on
reasonable requests.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
use the app to access a server you have been banned from, or in breach of that server's rules;
use the app to disrupt, overload, scan, or attack any network or server, whether yours or anyone else's;
broadcast on a network you do not have permission to use;
attempt to manufacture referrals or otherwise obtain Premium by deception;
reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app except as your local law expressly permits; or
use the app in breach of Minecraft's own end-user licence agreement or the terms of the platform you are playing on.
You are responsible for how the app is used on your network, including by
other people you let join through your device.
Availability, updates, and ending the agreement
The app is provided as it is, and we may change it, update it, or stop
offering it at any time. Features can be added or removed — including
the invite promotion and the in-app server list. Some functionality depends on
servers we operate (the app fetches a small configuration file and, if you use
invites, contacts our referral backend); we do not promise these will be
available without interruption.
You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app. We may
suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Ending the agreement
does not entitle you to a refund except where the store's policy or your
statutory rights say otherwise.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and
"as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied,
including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not
warrant that joining will work on any given device, network, or game version,
or that any listed server is online, safe, or suitable.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect,
incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, in-game
progress, or in-game items. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total
liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the
app in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law
— including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for
fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under the
consumer law of the country you live in, and nothing here overrides them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United
States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer
resident elsewhere, you may also bring proceedings in, and rely on the
mandatory consumer protections of, the country where you live.
Changes to these terms, and how to reach us
If we change these terms we will update this page and the "Last updated" date
at the top, and note significant changes in the app's release notes.
Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
